The McGill Bermuda Scholarship
Noa attended Saltus Grammar School between 2006-2020, where she was consistently on the honour roll and graduated with Head Teachers Honour Roll. During her senior years at Saltus, Noa took seven Advanced Placement classes and received an AP Scholar Award with Honour along with the PwC Head Start Award of Excellence and the Francis Goose Gosling Award. In middle school, Noa passed nine GCSE courses with top grades. Throughout the years, Noa received multiple subject prizes including: Economics, Spanish, Resistant materials and Art. While at Saltus, Noa held several leadership positions, including: Senior Prefect of Academics, Gold Key Tour Ambassador, Leader of the Student/ Staff Leadership Initiative, Science Prefect and a member of the Prom Committee.
Also, Noa has always been very musical, as she played the flute and violin since a young age. Noa was a member of the Wind Band, Concert Band and Orchestra. She also achieved ABRSM exam certificates in flute, violin and music theory. Noa is an avid dancer and was a member of the In Motion School of Dance from a very young age until she graduated. During her time at In Motion she was a member of Senior Company and studied styles of ballet, jazz, modern, pointe, and tap. She represented the school overseas at the Grier Gala and performed at the America’s Cup.
As someone who is keen to help others and to be involved in her community, Noa served as a YouthNet Mentor at Victor Scott Primary School where she helped children with developing their reading skills. Additionally, she participated in a World Challenge Expedition to Tanzania, which entailed fundraising for a primary school project for a year before and continuing to fundraise after the expedition. Noa was also fortunate to be selected to attend The United Nations International School (UNIS) Conference: The Water Crisis in 2019.
Noa will enter McGill University in September, 2020 to study for her Bachelor of Commerce degree.
