Sophia attended The Bermuda High School between 2002 and 2012, achieving Overall Honours in the 3 terms of her final year. She entered Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, USA in 2012, from where she graduated in 2015. During her final two years at Exeter, she achieved an average in high honours.

Sophia has a passion for the arts. She enjoys ballet and dance, plays the piano and has acted in four school plays, two pantomimes and one Gilbert & Sullivan production. She has also displayed some of her mosiacs at a student art show and received a Gold Key Award from the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards for photography.

Having participated in the Bermuda Inline Hockey League for 10 years, Sophia joined the Junior Varsity Girls Ice Hockey Team at Exeter and was voted captain of the team and was top scorer for the 2013-14 and the 2014-15 seasons. She was also part of the Learn to Skate program in Bermuda and taught children aged 5-9 how to roller skate.

Sophia has participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities. In Exeter, she was a leader of the Heartbreakers Club which assisted disabled women from the local area. She was also elected by the faculty and her peers as a Proctor for the largest dorm on Campus and a Student Listener (student counellor) with responsibility for the welfare of the students. In Bermuda, she has been a Marine Science Intern at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Studies and taught young children mosaics at summer camp.

Sophia will enter McGill in September, 2015 to study for a Bachelor of Arts.
