Sydney attended Warwick Academy between 2006 and 2013. While at Warwick, she obtained 9 IGCSEs and was awarded the Board of Governors’ Prize for Exceptional IGCSE passes in Year 11. Sydney graduated from Warwick Academy in 2013 with a Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Program with 37 points and received the award for Third In Year.

While in Bermuda, she participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities both in and out of the school. She played the cello in the Warwick Academy Orchestra and participated in drama productions at the school. She was a school prefect and a house captain, and a member of the school's volleyball, swim and track team. Sydney is also a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver Awards.

Sydney was a member of the In Motion Dance Company for five years. In the summers, she was a swimming instructor. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and the Bermuda Hospital Board.

Sydney entered McGill in September, 2013 to study at the Desautels Faculty of Management pursuing a major in Finance.
