Jonathan attended Saltus Grammar School between 1999 and 2006. In 2006, he went to Caldicott School in the United Kingdom. Between 2007 and 2012, Jonathan attended Eton College in the United Kingdom from where he graduated with ten GCSEs, four AS levels and three A levels, all with top grades.

Jonathan enjoys sports. He was selected to represent Bermuda in Cricket International in the West Indies in the Under 13's Cup and has played with the Flatts Men's Cricket Team here in Bermuda.

He describes football as a hobby, but has been on the first Eleven team at Eton for his last two years and went on tour with the team to both Malaysia and Spain. The team also reached two national cup finals, and in his last year, he was awarded the "Goal of the Season" award. In Bermuda, he has trained at BAA and with Bermuda's Under 18's football team during his vacations.

Jonathan also has a keen interest in the world community. He volunteered for two years at the Eton Elderly Home Care Centre. He was also a committee member for the African Society at Eton which sought to raise awareness about issues in Africa, notably the impoverished state of many hospitals in Central African nations. They raised money for charities that supported HIV positive single mothers and their children, and helped to seek better conditions in African prisons. He has also assisted local charities in Bermuda.

Jonathan has been accepted into the Faculty of Arts at McGill University to study economics and politics.

Jonathan's long term objective is to pursue a career in law.
