The Dudley & Deborah Butterfield Scholarship

Leonae graduated from the Bermuda High School in 2002 having successfully obtained nine GCSEs. She was an Honours’ List student during her time at Bermuda High School and received several awards, included for Excellence in Art and Achievement in Mathematics. For the academic year ending in June, 2003, she attended Saltus Graduate Year Programme and successfully completed her courses there.

While at school, Leonae was a member of the netball team and she is also an accomplished horseback rider. In addition, Leonae obtained the bronze and silver medals in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Leonae will be entering McGill in August, 2003 to read for a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in the Faculty of Management. Leonae’s ultimate career objective is to be a chartered accountant.
