JAMES, Aisha

The Dudley & Deborah Butterfield Scholarship

 

Aisha attended Warwick Academy School between 1993 to 1998 where she gained eight grade A's of her ten passes in the GCSE/IGCSE examinations. She then proceeded to the graduate year programme at Saltus Grammar School in 1999 from where she graduated with distinction.

Whilst at Warwick Academy, Aisha was a peer tutor participating in the Word of Life Club and assisted in the production of the school's yearbook. Aisha enjoys sports and outdoor activities. She was involved in the badminton and weight training clubs, and obtained bronze, silver and gold medals in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Aisha has been a candy stripper at King Edward VIII Memorial Hospital and was a recipient of the Proficiency Award for consistently providing exemplary service. She also became a 'Brownie Helper' and assisted the first Devonshire Brownie Pack of which she was once a member.

Aisha's future career goal is to practice medicine. She entered McGill University in September, 1999 where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree.
